Ecuador Eliminates Tariffs on Colombian Exports and Strengthens Bilateral Integration
Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa announced the elimination of tariffs on Colombian exports to the Ecuadorian market, a measure that came into effect on June 1. The decision aims to facilitate the exchange of goods in agricultural, industrial, and service sectors, as well as promote future energy cooperation agreements and reinforce binational coordination against common challenges such as drug trafficking and illegal mining.
