MTC: Port of Callao Reaches Record with Unloading of 6,000 Vehicles and Strengthens Automotive Sector
The Port of Callao received nearly 6,000 vehicles on a single vessel from Asia, marking the largest unloading of vehicle units in an unprecedented operation. The North dock set a new record for rolling cargo movement. Between 2025 and 2026, vehicle movement at the North dock grew by approximately 28%, driven by increased commercial dynamism between Asia and Peru.
