SVTI suspends operations due to storm in southern Valparaíso area
San Vicente Terminal Internacional (SVTI) completely shut down its operations due to an intense storm affecting the southern part of the country. The displacement of a stack of empty containers was contained with no personal injuries. SVTI activated a contingency plan that includes adjustments in storage, safeguards in warehouses, and restriction of operations. Suspension is expected in Valparaíso ports starting Wednesday at 23:59.
