Höegh Autoliners Implements PntGuard Technology on 38 Vessels

Höegh Autoliners has signed a five-year contract with SGM Technology to equip its fleet of 38 vessels with PntGuard, a technology designed to enhance navigation in areas with GPS interference. Installation is set to begin in September 2026. The system provides independent positioning when GPS signals are interrupted and alerts crews to interference, facilitating quicker responses and regulatory compliance.
