Port of Antwerp Approves Project to Expand Container Handling Capacity
The Flemish Government approved the draft "Left Bank Container Cluster" project at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges. The project will increase container handling capacity by 7 million TEU and includes the construction of a second tidal dock adjacent to the Deurganck dock. The public consultation process is valid until August 10, 2026.
