AMP Reports Attack on Panamanian Vessel in Black Sea
The Panama Maritime Authority reported an incident on June 22, 2026, in the Black Sea, where the Panamanian-flagged vessel VICTRESS was attacked with missiles and drones. The attack resulted in the death of an Egyptian crew member. The remaining eight crew members abandoned the vessel in a life raft and were evacuated to Vylkove, Ukraine. The AMP activated security protocols and recommended that vessels under its flag take preventive measures in conflict zones.
