The National Waterway Transportation Agency (Antaq) has set the date for the public hearing related to the concession of the Integrated Southern Waterway System (Saip) and Lagoa Mirim.
The project includes waterway access infrastructure to the ports of Rio Grande, Pelotas, and Porto Alegre, as well as sections of the Lagoa dos Patos waterway, Lago Guaíba, and the Jacuí, Caí, Sinos, and Gravataí rivers.
The session will take place on August 11 at 2:30 PM local time to receive contributions, subsidies, and suggestions on the technical and legal documents of the bidding process for the Saip Sul-Mirim concession.
According to the Brazilian state agency, the hearing will be broadcast on Antaq's YouTube channel and can be followed without the need for registration.
