AAPA Latam announced the holding of an International Executive Port Seminar that will take place from September 28 to October 2, bringing together executives and representatives of the port sector from Latin America and the Caribbean on a technical tour of Spain and Morocco. The initiative seeks to strengthen capacities, promote international cooperation, and analyze the main challenges facing the port industry in terms of competitiveness, governance, and territorial integration.
For five days, participants will visit strategic infrastructures such as Tanger City Port and Tanger Med, where they will learn about port development models, port-city integration, investment attraction, and articulation with logistics and industrial zones. The program also includes technical meetings and dialogue spaces on territorial planning, connectivity, sustainability, and the modernization of port systems.
The agenda will conclude in Madrid with high-level meetings with port authorities and representatives of the European sector. The initiative seeks to foster the exchange of good practices, strengthen interregional cooperation, and contribute to the development of more efficient, sustainable ports integrated into logistics chains and international maritime trade.
