New restaurants and bars will launch on Carnival Festivale in 2027 and Carnival Tropicale in 2028, and innovative dining experiences are rolling out now across the Carnival Cruise Line fleet.
Carrying more than 6m passengers and serving over 100m meals annually, Carnival has deep insight into changing tastes in dining.
To unveil "The Next Course" wave of culinary innovation, Carnival hosted an immersive event in New Orleans starring Chief Culinary Officer Emeril Lagasse.
New specialty restaurants and bars include Emeril's Coastal Seafood, with flavors from the Gulf of Mexico to New England that have the celebrity chef's signature creole flair. From fresh oysters and Gulf shrimp to whole roasted fish and chef-driven specialties, this menu will be for an extra charge.
Uku Lei Lei offers tropical-inspired dishes fusing the spirit of Hawaii with bold Asian flavors. Dishes will include Mongolian beef short rib, fresh poke bowls and tropical-infused desserts. This is an included dining experience in a colorful, Hawaiian-inspired venue.
Fetaccine, also an included dining option for the first visit, blends Greek seaside flavors with Italian culinary tradition. Shrimp saganaki, chicken parmesan, Greek lamb chops and cannolis are among the menu choices. Subsequent visits carry an $8 per person charge.
Exclusively aboard Carnival Festivale, Le Bistro Musicale offers a Parisian café menu including steak frites, chicken cordon bleu, French onion soup and freshly shucked oysters. It is elevated comfort food at an additional charge, with live music nearby.
Carnival Festivale will also uniquely feature several new bars such as The Spark, a vibrant lounge featuring live performances and cocktails inspired by iconic songs, and Mix, a playful bar serving creative cocktails or patron-crafted drinks.
Festival Grounds Coffee & Bar will serve specialty coffees and cocktails in a dynamic space.
Carnival's "The Next Course" also brings refreshed menus fleetwide, with new main dining room options for breakfast, lunch and dinner and new Lido Marketplace choices such as a Lido Family Menu featuring daily kid-approved favorites.
BlueIguana Cantina will offer daily rotating specials, while Bagels @ Sea will serve freshly baked bagels with assorted toppings.
These elevated multi-course dinners will be highlighted by regionally inspired flavors.
Plus, Fruity & Frosted Breakfast Bars and Ice Cream and Milkshake Bars add new fast-casual options to Excel-class ships, and a variety of other fun pop-ups fleetwide.
Expanded grab-and-go options and mobile ordering will provide greater convenience.
And Express Dining offers faster service in the main dining room.
