Celebrity Cruises will operate its largest-ever season in Europe in 2028, the company announced.
The company said that the eight-ship deployment will mark the first time that four ships of its Edge-class series will sail in the region at the same time.
The Celebrity Xcel, the Celebrity Beyond, the Celebrity Ascent and the Celebrity Apex will be joined by the Celebrity Eclipse, the Celebrity Constellation, the Celebrity Summit and the Celebrity Infinity for itineraries to Northern Europe and the Mediterranean.
Celebrity said that the season is highlighted by the return of the Celebrity Beyond to the United Kingdom for itineraries from Southampton.
The deployment will also mark the company's maiden visit to Galway, Ireland, and a return to Bari, Italy, after ten years.
Joining the Beyond in Northern Europe, the Apex will offer itineraries to Scandinavia and the British Isles while the Summit will operate cruises in Iceland.
The Xcel, the Ascent, the Eclipse and the Constellation will return to the Mediterranean for itineraries that cover Italy, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Morocco and more.
The Celebrity Infinity is also scheduled to continue its year-round sailings in Europe, offering itineraries to the Eastern Mediterranean during the summer.
The vessel's deployment includes overnight visits to Alexandria, which will mark Celebrity's return to Egypt after a five-year gap.
Shoulder season cruises in the Eastern Mediterranean will allow guests to beat the crowds at must-see sites such as Mykonos, Santorini and Ephesus, the company added.
The Infinity is also set to return to Barcelona for the winter, offering itineraries to the Canary Islands, Portugal and Morocco.
According to Celebrity, bookings for its European season will open to the general public on August 25, 2026.
