(10:06 a.m. EDT) — Disney Cruise Line is moving up its fleet expansion timeline, with new ships now expected to enter service earlier than originally planned.
The update was shared during The Walt Disney Company's earnings call on August 5, 2026.
The cruise line previously announced plans to add 13 ships by 2031. According to the update, two of the next-generation ships are expected to debut in 2029, followed by a third in late 2030.
The revised schedule would now allow Disney Cruise Line to complete its fleet expansion one year earlier than expected.
The company also confirmed that Disney Believe is on track to debut late in 2027. The 4,000-passenger ship will be the last Wish-class vessel in the Disney fleet, joining sister ships Disney Wish, which debuted in 2022, Disney Treasure, launched in 2024, and Disney Destiny, which entered service in 2025.
Earlier this year, the company launched its first Singapore-based ship, Disney Adventure. The 208,000-ton ship embarked on its inaugural voyage on March 10, following a christening ceremony on March 4.
