Holland America Line's cruises sailing during the July 4 weekend will feature special programming honoring America's 250th anniversary.
Cruises over the holiday weekend will have festive programming, live music, commemorative keepsakes and special culinary experiences, the cruise line said in a statement.
Additionally, events designed to honor America's history, culture and spirit will be available on select itineraries.
"We're excited to bring the spirit of America's 250th anniversary to life across our fleet with experiences that feel both celebratory and uniquely Holland America Line," said Michael Stendebach, senior vice president of food, beverage and rooms division for Holland America Line.
"From live entertainment and themed events to American-inspired dining and our special 'Stars & Stripes' cruise, these experiences are designed to capture the energy and pride that make this milestone so meaningful. We have worked with intention to create moments that feel fun, memorable and connective."
Ships sailing in North America on Independence Day will host a festive party featuring live music performances as part of the "Soundtrack of America" program.
Guests will also be able to take part in interactive lawn games, Fourth of July-themed trivia, scavenger hunts and live cooking demonstrations inspired by classic American flavors and traditions.
Dishes and beverages inspired by the classic flavors Americans enjoy during Independence Day celebrations will also be offered onboard, including patriotic breakfast and dinner options, as well and Independence Day-inspired beverage specials.
Furthermore, a special "America's 250th Celebration: Stars & Stripes" cruise aboard the Zuiderdam will depart from Boston, Massachusetts, on July 4.
It will visit historically significant American cities, including Norfolk, Virginia, along with an overnight stay in New York City.
The ship will also host a special "Great American Songbook" concert celebrating American music.
Guests on the "Stars & Stripes" cruise will get a special bandana created exclusively for the occasion, while those on other cruises will get a commemorative America's 250th anniversary keepsake pin.
