After announcing plans to sell the Sirena to an undisclosed buyer, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings will retire five ships from its fleet through 2028.
Here are all the vessels set to be withdrawn by the company, according to the latest edition of the Cruise Ship Secondhand Market Report by Cruise Industry News.
Regatta Brand: Oceania Cruises

Fate: Chartered to myCruises
Retirement Date: August 2026
The Regatta will be the first ship to leave Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings' fleet, with its delivery to myCruises' Explorations by Norwegian brand scheduled for August 2026.
Currently in service for Oceania Cruises, the 684-passenger ship will sail for the Australia-based tour operator as part of a two-year charter agreement. Long-term plans for the 1998-built vessel are currently unclear.
Norwegian Sky Brand: Norwegian Cruise Line
Capacity: 2,000
Tonnage: 77,104
Year Built: 1999
Fate: Acquired by Cordelia Cruises
Retirement Date: September 2026
The Norwegian Sky is also scheduled to leave NCLH's fleet in 2026, wrapping up a 27-year career with Norwegian Cruise Line.
Acquired by Cordelia Cruises for service in India, the 2,000-passenger ship will depart the company in September following a long-term charter deal inclusive of a purchase option.
Norwegian Sun Brand: Norwegian Cruise Line

Year Built: 2000
Fate: Acquired by Cordelia Cruises
Retirement Date: September 2027
Cordelia Cruises also acquired the Norwegian Sun, which is scheduled to be retired from Norwegian Cruise Line's fleet in September 2027.
Similar to the Norwegian Sky, the 2000-built vessel is set to operate itineraries departing from India as part of a long-term charter agreement that includes a purchase option.
Seven Seas Navigator Brand: Regent Seven Seas Cruises

Tonnage: 28,550
Year Built: 1999
Fate: Acquired by Avora Residences
Retirement Date: December 2027
The Seven Seas Navigator will be withdrawn from Regent's fleet, after being acquired by Avora Residences earlier this year.
Set to become an upscale residential ship, the 28,550-ton vessel will be delivered to its new operator in late 2027.

Retirement Date: April 2028
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings announced the sale of the Sirena in late July. While a buyer was not named, the ship is expected to be delivered to its new owners after its spring 2028 deployment.
Originally launched as the R4 in 2000, the 684-passenger ship was acquired by Oceania in 2016, after spending over a decade sailing for Princess Cruises.
