Philip Bender Joins Swift Marine as Global Project Logistics Director

Swift Marine, under the group including Horizon Air Freight, Swift Marine and Delver Agents, has appointed Philip Bender, who joins the Global Cruise Logistics team as Global Project Logistics Director, effective September 1, 2026.

The group said that Bender brings more than 15 years of cruise industry experience, most recently from Virgin Voyages. His previous experience also includes Windstar Cruises, Lindblad Expeditions, Holland America Line and Crystal Cruises.

Throughout his career, Bender has developed extensive expertise in marine procurement, technical supply chains, cruise operations and project logistics, the group said in a press release.

In this newly established global role, Bender will lead the development of the Dry Dock and New Build logistics offering, working with the regional teams, customers and strategic partners.

His appointment represents an important step in our Cruise Logistics growth strategy and our ambition to become one of the industry's leading logistics partners for complex cruise projects, the group stated.
