Cunard revealed plans for an extensive transformation of Queen Victoria, with the ship set to emerge from dry dock this autumn with refreshed signature spaces including Cunard Grills suites and the introduction of The Pavilion Wellness Café.
The 2,000-passenger vessel will enter dry dock at Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam from October 17 to November 5, returning to service on November 7 for the remainder of its 2026 voyages and into 2027.
Queen Victoria's signature spaces will be revitalised during the refurbishment. The Grand Lobby will be refreshed to enhance passenger arrival experiences, whilst the Queens Room will be reimagined to continue hosting Cunard's afternoon tea service, live music and gala evenings.
The ship's Grill Suite experience will receive upgrades, with Queens Grill and Princess Grill Suites enhanced with new furnishings and design elements. Eight additional Britannia staterooms will be introduced, including three from a new premium category called Britannia Deluxe Oceanview, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows.
The new staterooms will be available for booking from today for voyages departing from November 11.
Queen Victoria will become the third ship in Cunard's fleet to feature The Pavilion Wellness Café, following its introduction on Queen Anne in 2024 and Queen Elizabeth in 2025. The venue will serve breakfast, lunch and daytime dining with plant-based cuisine alongside sustainably sourced meat, fish and dairy options.

Following the refurbishment, Queen Victoria will resume operations with a 2027 programme including voyages to the Mediterranean, Norwegian Fjords, Canary Islands and other destinations.
