Royal Caribbean announced that it welcomed nearly 40 key Singapore travel trade partners to an appreciation luncheon hosted by Ben Bouldin, president of Greater China and managing director, Asia, Royal Caribbean.
"Singapore is a major gateway for cruise guests exploring Asia, and our travel partners are central to helping guests choose the right Royal Caribbean holiday and plan with confidence, from Asia to bucket-list destinations such as Alaska, the Caribbean and Europe," said Bouldin.
"As interest in cruise travel continues to grow, close collaboration with our travel partners will remain essential in helping guests discover the wide range of vacation experiences available around the world."
Royal Caribbean's Trade Appreciation Luncheon in Singapore brought together 39 travel trade partners and 17 Royal Caribbean representatives.
The company said in a press release that the event came as Singapore continues to play a strategic role in Southeast Asia's cruise sector, marking Bouldin's first engagement with local industry peers since taking on his expanded role in July.
The event, according to the press release, underscored the importance of close collaboration with travel partners as intra-Asia-Pacific travel continues to gain momentum, alongside Royal Caribbean's expanding range of vacation experiences around the world.
This includes the Legend of the Seas' current European season.
The luncheon also provided an opportunity for Royal Caribbean to thank its travel partners for their continued support and collaboration in helping more travelers discover cruise vacations.
