During the first semester of the year, thirty-two student groups, mainly university students, visited the commercial port.
March and June stood out, with eight groups requesting entry to the bonded area each of those months, while six groups were attended in April, five in May, three in February, and two in January.
As part of the tours of the commercial port facilities, students are shown maneuvers, ship loading and unloading operations, and provided with statistical information on the volume and type of cargo received in Manzanillo.
Some of these school groups come from other parts of the country, which is why the Manzanillo National Port System Administration (ASIPONA) constantly works to provide data and information about the commercial port's potential to all its visitors.
