To commemorate America's 250th anniversary and Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours' 40th anniversary this year, Scenic Group founder and Chairman Glen Moroney will host a voyage along the US East Coast.
Departing Oct. 5, Scenic Eclipse will call at destinations that played pivotal roles in shaping the United States, from New York City to the historic waterfronts of Baltimore, Yorktown, Wilmington and Charleston, the 11-night voyage will continue to Miami and Key West, ending at Nassau, Bahamas.
Travelers can explore destinations linked to the Revolutionary War, the birth of American independence, maritime heritage and the cultural traditions that continue to shape the nation. Ports such as Yorktown, where the decisive battle of the Revolution took place, and Charleston, one of America's most storied cities, provide a deeper appreciation for the country's journey over two and a half centuries.
"America's 250th anniversary is a moment to reflect on the people, places and events that shaped our country," said Ken Muskat, president, Scenic Group USA & LATAM, adding this chairman's voyage provides an "extraordinary opportunity to experience that history firsthand."
Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours and Emerald Cruises are offering an Independence Day bonus savings promotion. From June 29 through July 6, travelers can save $250 per sailing on 2026 and 2027 river cruises, luxury yacht cruises and ocean voyages when they book directly with Scenic or Emerald Cruises and use promo code USA250.
