TUI River Cruises unveiled its winter 2027 programme, marking the operator's largest winter launch with 37 sailings scheduled from October 2027 to April 2027.
The programme introduces TUI Elara's first winter season and brings the total to three ships operating on the Rhine, including new Belgian port calls.
The winter schedule features three, four, five and seven-night sailings across the fleet.
Prices start from £869 per person for "A Taste of Christmastime on the Rhine" winter 2027 itineraries, available to book from July 2, 2026.
TUI Elara, the river cruise line's most intimate ship, will operate Rhine sailings including the "An Enchanting Christmas Journey" itinerary. The programme introduces new port calls to Maastricht, Liege and Roermond, where TUI Elara will dock on Christmas Day for winter 2027.

"With the addition of TUI Elara for her first winter season, new Rhine itineraries, winter Douro itineraries and calls to new Belgian ports, we're giving customers more choice and flexibility than ever before from festive Christmas market sailings to solo cruises and a wider range of regional flight options."
TUI Luzia, the first purpose-built ship for the river cruise line, will operate its first winter season on the Douro with four Portuguese sailings of the "Douro Discovery" itinerary. The seven-night cruises will sail from Porto to Entre os Rios, Peso de Regua, Vega de Terron, Barca d'Alva, returning to Peso de Regua before finishing in Porto from November 5, 2027.
These sailings will be supported by third-party airline routes from Stansted Airport to Porto and London Gatwick to Porto for winter 2027.
TUI Maya and TUI Isla will both operate Danube itineraries, including New Year sailings. TUI Maya will offer "New Year on the Eastern Danube" departing December 30, 2027, with the ship docked in Budapest for New Year's Eve.
The operator is expanding its regional flight programme with a third TUI Airways departure from Birmingham to Dusseldorf, joining existing services from London Gatwick and Manchester for TUI Skyla, TUI Aria and TUI Elara. These flights will support itineraries including "Mistletoe & Rhine" on TUI Aria and "A Christmastime on the Rhine" on TUI Skyla.
Two solo sailings will operate on the Rhine during the winter season. TUI Elara will sail the southern Rhine for a seven-night "Rhine Chateaux & Gateaux" cruise visiting Basel, Mannheim and Koblenz from October 31, 2027. TUI Aria will operate a four-night "Northern Rhine Highlights" cruise visiting Amsterdam, Cologne and Mainz from November 17, 2027.
