Viking has opened bookings for its 2028–29 ocean season, with over 700 new departures across 80 itineraries.
The line's largest ocean deployment to date will span 301 ports in 84 countries and will include voyages aboard the new Viking Vega and Viking Leda.
Highlights include two new itineraries: the 15-day Alaskan Fjords & the Inside Passage voyage, sailing from Vancouver to Whittier and the 16-day Mediterranean, Malta & North Africa cruise, round-trip from Rome.
The 2028–29 season also includes additional sailings of the new Japan Discovery itinerary, a 15-day round-trip voyage from Tokyo, with calls in Niigata, Hakata (Fukuoka), Sapporo and Shimizu.

"From new itineraries to our two newest ocean ships, this deployment reflects our continued commitment to providing destination-focused voyages for curious travelers."
The 2028–29 itineraries span the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Alaska, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, the Caribbean, South America and the Panama Canal. Itineraries range from eight days to extended World Voyages.
