Since the beginning of the year, Fesco Transport Group (part of the Rosatom State Corporation) has increased the volume of fashion items transported through its Rail Jet express baggage car service from China to Russia by eight times. In August, the weekly volume of these shipments reached 450-480 cubic meters.
The increase in transport volume is due to greater cooperation with Russia's largest fashion companies, which use this service to quickly transport clothing, footwear, and textiles from the Chinese city of Hunchun to Moscow's Yaroslavskaya station, passing through Ussuriysk.
Rail Jet, jointly operated by Fesco and Russian Railways Logistics, specializes in the express shipment of consumer goods, electronics, home appliances, and specialized equipment from China to the Russian capital. Shipments are made in baggage cars with a capacity of 25 and 35 tons, on a weekly basis. The transit time is nine days, within the regular passenger schedule, which ensures punctual delivery times for customers.
In addition to organizing transport, Fesco offers a full range of logistics services along the entire cargo route. The group organizes the transport of products from manufacturers in various Chinese cities to Hunchun, as well as lot consolidation, labeling, repackaging, loading and unloading, and customs clearance.
Upon arrival in Moscow, Fesco manages the processing of cargo in its own temporary warehouse with a capacity of 3,200 cubic meters, customs clearance, and road delivery to recipients throughout Russia.
