OnRoute is the name of the new national Spanish logistics operator born from the integration of Talaexprés, Logística Carosán (Talavera de la Reina - Castilla La Mancha, Sagunto/Valencia), Futrans (Toledo - Castilla La Mancha), and Transnugón (Valencia).
Behind this operation is the investment fund Sherpa Capital, which has been acquiring these firms since February 2024 until the creation of a single brand under which it will operate throughout the national territory, OnRoute.
With these four companies, the new entity becomes one of the main national logistics operators and a benchmark for industrial, retail, pharma, and mass consumption sectors. This is thanks to a truck fleet of over 500 tractor units, a storage area of 140,000 square meters, and nearly 800 employees.
The combined turnover of this logistics agent is USD 85 million in 2025 and it expects to increase its sales by 35% in 2026, precisely due to both new acquisitions and the development of its business plan.
OnRoute has logistics operations bases in the Valencian Community, Castilla la Mancha, Extremadura, and Portugal, allowing it to cover the entire territory and a wide variety of sectors ranging from industrial to dry or cold food.
For the Business Development Director, German Monedero, the objectives of this integration are "to become a global logistics agent for the Supply Chain, combining warehouse functionalities and full loads, but with local action, to be leaders in sectors such as industrial, automotive, food, or pharmaceutical and dermocosmetic."
"To achieve this, we are working on aligning all companies under a common operational and strategic model, as well as integrating all firms and their teams. Furthermore, we aspire for the market to recognize us with the OnRoute brand, consistent with our objectives: to accompany clients on their logistics route, and we would like it to be recognized in the industrial market as the brand of a benchmark logistics operator," added Monedero.
The main objective set by the company and detailed by Germán Monedero is based on a move towards a direct B2B model, with an increase in manufacturing and industrial clients. They also expect an increase in the profitable occupancy of warehouses, and to evolve towards a 3PL model (outsourcing a company's logistics operations to a specialized provider), for warehouse clients "and become a preferred logistics provider," he noted.
For the executive, an important challenge to achieve the objectives is to improve profitability per truck and optimize operational efficiency, and above all, "increase the digitalization and automation of certain processes to promote competitiveness."
The definitive launch of the OnRoute brand responds to the current situation of acquisitions and the creation of large logistics leaders with the capacity to operate throughout the territory and in various sectors.
