Fincantieri announced a contract with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, joint owner/operator of Four Seasons Yachts, to build Four Seasons III.
Delivery of the 34,000gt vessel from Fincantieri's Ancona yard is scheduled for 2031, following Four Seasons II's handover in late 2027.
The price was not disclosed. The Seatrade Cruise Orderbook estimates Four Seasons II at $450m.
Fincantieri said the 207-meter/679-foot Four Seasons III will follow the same all-suite, residential-style concept as Four Seasons I.
"The decision to expand the fleet with a third vessel reflects the strength of a long-term industrial vision and confirms the market's appreciation for a concept that has successfully created a new segment at the intersection of luxury hospitality and advanced shipbuilding," Fincantieri CEO/MD Pierroberto Folgiero said.
"Designed and built at our Ancona shipyard, the vessel further reinforces Ancona's role as Fincantieri's center of excellence for ultra-luxury shipbuilding, where innovation, craftsmanship and industrial expertise come together to deliver the highest standards of quality and sophistication."
