Zodiac Maritime placed an order for two PCTC vessels with CIMC Raffles Shipyard, with delivery scheduled for 2028, following the signing of a contract for the construction of 10 vessels between 2021 and 2023.
Both vessels will be state-of-the-art dual-fuel PCTCs.
Zodiac Maritime noted that its fleet consists of 22 PCTC vessels, most of which are Panamax class and, in terms of tonnage, predominantly dual-fuel, performing over 100 LNG bunkering operations.
The shipping company was the first foreign company to deliver PCTC vessels to a Chinese car manufacturer, and the first PCTC charterer for BYD and Geely. Additionally, it has new PCTC vessels in collaboration with Anji Shipping.
