AS Tallink Grupp reported that the transport of commercial cargo units increased by 2.9% in the second quarter of the fiscal year, totaling 68,986 units compared to 67,038 in the previous cycle.
The logistics business by routes during the quarter from April to June showed 53,993 cargo units on the Estonia-Finland segment, 9,969 units between Finland and Sweden, and 5,024 units between Estonia and Sweden, consolidating variations of 9.8%, 29.7%, and -50.7%, respectively.
Regarding the monthly balance for June 2026, the company increased its cargo by 2%, with 22,993 units, of which 18,197 corresponded to Estonia-Finland, 3,477 to Finland-Sweden, and 1,319 to Estonia-Sweden, surpassing the 22,544 recorded in June 2025.
Indicators for the passenger transport sector recorded negative numbers, experiencing a 2.2% decrease in the second quarter with 1,454,725 users transported. The quarterly breakdown detailed that the Estonia-Finland route transported 946,175 customers, the Finland-Sweden route added 369,070 people, and the Estonia-Sweden line obtained 139,480 passengers, showing changes of minus 2.2%, 1%, and -10.1% compared to 2025 figures.
Automotive assets at Tallink also showed decreases in their financial and operational transport flows. The balance of private cars fell by 11.2% in June, totaling 77,733 vehicles, and accumulated a reduction of 6.5% in the second quarter of the year with 199,025 total units against the 212,782 cars of the previous year.
