ASIPONA Carries Out Cleaning of Francisco Villa Stream

Personnel from different areas of the National Port System Administration of Manzanillo (ASIPONA), with the aim of preventing floods in streets and neighborhoods adjacent to the port area, carried out an intense cleaning day, led by the General Director of the agency, Admiral José Ignacio Moreno Díaz.

The work included cleaning the streets adjacent to the stream that crosses the town of Francisco Villa and its banks. Plastic materials, PET, cardboard, and various waste were removed, as well as weeds and dry leaves that could obstruct the river flow, causing floods in the region.
