The National Fund for the Financing of State Business Activity (Fonafe) agreed to appoint the new chairman of the board of directors of the National Port Company (Enapu), a company in which the state holding participates as a shareholder.
Through Board Agreement N° 001-2026/014-Fonafe, published today in the official gazette El Peruano, Fonafe decided to change the status of Gustavo Adolfo Belaunde Gonzales from director to chairman of the board of Enapu, representing the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC).
Furthermore, Fonafe appointed Jesús Yrigoin Delgado as a director of the Arequipa Electric Generation Company (Egasa), following the proposal of the Ministry of Energy and Mines (Minem).
It should be noted that 35 state-owned companies fall under the scope of Fonafe, of which there are eleven electricity distribution companies, five generation companies, four financial companies, six non-electrical infrastructure companies, one hydrocarbon company, and eight companies with diverse activities.
