With the aim of promoting projects for the benefit of the population of the La Libertad region, the Vice Minister of Transport, Juan del Carmen Haro Muñoz, held an important working meeting with Congressman Diego Bazán Calderón.
During the meeting, information was provided on the situational status and progress of the projects being carried out by the sector in the area. Progress was reported on the project for the conservation service of the Santiago de Chuco – Shorey road. These actions are aimed at improving the road's transitability conditions, with the project's call for bids estimated to take place in June.
Likewise, the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) reported on the progress of the coastal rock revetment project for the resorts of Las Delicias, Buenos Aires, and Huanchaco in Trujillo, agreeing to conduct a technical visit to the area to review the intervention.
With these actions, the MTC promotes the development of road improvements and coastal protection that will positively impact the safety of the inhabitants of the La Libertad region.
