The National Agri-Food Health and Quality Service (SENASA) gave an informative talk on agri-food safety and traceability during its participation in the 2026 Agricultural Athenaeum, held at the Technical Education School Nº 3112 “Gral. Martín Miguel de Güemes”, in Salta.
The meeting, which aimed to strengthen the knowledge and skills of future technicians, promoting the link between education, innovation, production, and work, was organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Salta, with the support of the National Institute of Technological Education (INET).
On the occasion, agents from the Agri-Food Safety and Quality Coordination of SENASA's NOA Norte Regional Center addressed aspects of the tracking carried out through the federal food control system and the importance of access to public information.
The proposal included the participation of specialists and representatives from institutions linked to the sector, including the national health organization, as well as professionals from the regional productive sphere, generating a space for the exchange of experiences and knowledge with students and teachers.
For SENASA, the Agricultural Athenaeum represents another opportunity to bring its prevention and control actions for the safety of agri-food products that reach consumers in the country and around the world closer to the educational community.
