The activity took place over two days. The first was on September 9th, with the participation of seventh-grade students, while on the 16th, it was the turn of sixth-grade students. In total, 47 children, accompanied by their teachers, toured the vessel, moored at the Coast Guard Vessel Service.
During the visits, institutional staff showed the students the vessel's facilities and characteristics and explained the different scientific and environmental protection tasks carried out on board.
In this way, the students were able to complement the content worked on in the classroom and get a close look at the work carried out by the national Maritime Authority in aquatic spaces, especially regarding navigation, safety, and environmental protection.
