In representation of the Institution, Prefect Gonzalo Holowaty and Sub-Prefect Verónica García attended, participating in the training sessions alongside delegations from Peru, Uruguay, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, and Venezuela.

During the meeting, instructors Carlos Salinas and José Maraver, from the Jovellanos Center, provided content related to the implementation of maritime traffic organization and vessel notification systems, tools designed to strengthen navigation management and safety.

The training aimed to promote the application of these systems in the region, fostering the exchange of knowledge and experiences among the various participating maritime authorities.

The participation of Argentine Naval Prefecture personnel in these types of international events contributes to strengthening their technical and operational capabilities, updating knowledge, and consolidating regional cooperation in navigation safety and the protection of aquatic spaces.
