During the day, which also included the heads of the other Federal Forces, various topics related to crime prevention and articulated work between jurisdictions were addressed, among them the planning of the devices foreseen for the visit of Pope Leo XIV, measures for blocking cell phones in penitentiary establishments and initiatives aimed at the care and strengthening of the Forces.
In this framework, progress was made in coordinating the security devices planned for the visit of the Supreme Pontiff, who will have activities in different parts of the country, as well as in the adherence of the provinces to the IMEI and IMSI Detection and Blocking Program in penitentiary establishments, aimed at preventing the use of cell phones for the commission of crimes from prisons.
Likewise, the work agenda related to the well-being of the members of the Forces was presented, with special attention to mental health and suicide prevention, and to the accompaniment of the personnel and their families.
The meeting allowed progress in concrete agreements and commitments, based on the exchange of information and the coordination of efforts between the different organizations and jurisdictions.
