Last Tuesday (22), the National Employment System (Sine) of Paranaguá carried out the second job fair with vacancies for TCP, the company that manages the Paranaguá Container Terminal. In total, 218 people applied for the positions of warehouse assistant, Terminal Tractor (truck) multifunctional operator, reefer container assistant, and administrative assistant.
"In May, TCP participated for the first time this year in a Sine Paranaguá job fair, and the initiative was a success, resulting in 26 new hires. In this second edition, the number of applicants was higher, which demonstrates the candidates' interest in being part of the Terminal's team, which today is the largest private employer on the coast of Paraná and the fastest-growing in southern Brazil," highlighted Felipe de França, Human Resources Manager at TCP.
Currently, TCP has a team of more than 1,600 employees and is the largest port terminal in southern Brazil, with an accumulated movement equivalent to 1.663 million 20-foot containers (TEU) by 2025.
One of the highlights of the campaign promoted by Sine was the vacancies exclusively for people with disabilities (PCD) for the position of administrative assistant. The initiative reinforces the company's vision of inclusion and diversity in the workplace. "Exclusive vacancies for people with disabilities are part of our culture of inclusion, and we want to ensure that the port environment is increasingly accessible and full of opportunities for everyone," says França.
Candidates were referred for interviews with TCP's Human Resources team, who were on-site. The next stages are expected to take place in the coming weeks. Selected candidates will be contacted via WhatsApp, and hiring is expected to occur throughout November.
