The Iquique Port Company (EPI) hosted a Brazilian delegation led by Cálicles Mânica, general coordinator of International Relations for the National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) of the South American giant, to deepen logistics cooperation.
At this working meeting, EPI's general manager, Rubén Castro, along with Rodrigo Pommiez, general manager of Iquique International Terminal (ITI), presented the operational capabilities, competitive advantages, and growth projections of the Port of Iquique.
During the meeting, key topics such as customs facilitation, the role of the free trade zone system in adding value to cargo, and our expansion projects were discussed.
This meeting continues the work initiated after the recent visit of the Brazilian Customs, solidifying a collaboration agenda that seeks to enhance efficiency, connectivity, and trade and investment opportunities between both nations.
