Puerto Bolívar, located in Machala, received approximately 30 blades destined for the Villonaco III wind project, which is being developed in the province of Loja. The operation underscores the participation of El Oro's port infrastructure in a strategic project for the country. The components will be unloaded at the terminal and subsequently transported directly to Loja, where they will be used in the construction of the wind farm. This operation highlights Puerto Bolívar's importance as an entry point and mobilization hub for specialized infrastructure. The Port Authority of Puerto Bolívar emphasized the role of the province of El Oro in this operation and its connection to national-scope projects. Villonaco III will contribute to strengthening Ecuador's energy system through wind power generation.
