Ecuadorian exports reached $10.177 billion between April and June 2026, the highest quarterly value recorded in the historical series. According to the BCE, the amount grew 8.3% compared to the first quarter and 7% year-on-year.
The oil sector was one of the main drivers, with crude oil exports totaling $2.8325 billion. Among non-oil exports, shrimp stood out, reaching $2.5544 billion during the second quarter.
United States, China, and Panama were the main destinations for Ecuadorian exports. This performance contributed to the country's historic foreign trade results during the second quarter of 2026.
