Representatives from the shipping line NYK, specializing in vehicle maritime transport, visited the Manta International Port Terminal. The delegation, coming from Tokyo, North America, Mexico, and several South American countries, participated in the Safety & Quality Committee.

During the visit, participants toured the terminal facilities and learned about the operational characteristics and capabilities of the Port of Manta. The day allowed for the exchange of experiences and best practices related to safety, quality, efficiency, and port operations.

The meeting placed special emphasis on Ro-Ro operations and the strengthening of standards applied on the West Coast of South America. This initiative contributes to strengthening collaboration among maritime-port chain stakeholders and the exchange of knowledge.
