Fantasy Fest Returns to PortCastelló on November 7th and 8th

November 3, 2026

11/03/2026.- The Castellón City Council and PortCastelló will once again surprise this weekend, November 7th and 8th, in the leisure area of the Port of Castellón, with the second edition of Fantasy Fest. After the success of its debut in 2025, the great event for children, youth, and family entertainment returns to revolutionize El Grao and turn it into the ideal setting for fun and entertainment with the universes of superheroes and all the fantasy of the world of cinema, literature, and comics. The characters have already begun to arrive in the city, with R2D2, for example, surprising Tram passengers yesterday.

The event, which will take place from 10 AM to 2 PM and 5 PM to 9 PM on Saturday, and from 10 AM to 2 PM on Sunday, will feature activities for all audiences based on different fantasy universes and fictional characters. It is worth highlighting the collaboration of El Grao businesses and the local economic impact of the event through hotel bookings due to the participation of people arriving from outside Castellón.

The event will have stellar moments such as the Fantasy Fest parade with all the protagonists of the event, which will depart on Saturday at 6 PM from Sète Square, to the Cosplay contest that will be held an hour earlier, as well as Jedi Challenge activities or the Transformer exhibition, among many other options for all audiences, without forgetting the gaming zone or the essential Fantasy Market to make many illusions come true.

The geek festival grows in its second edition with a spectacular display of characters with notable additions such as the Harry Potter universe. On the central stage of Moll de Costa Eventos, up to three ceremonies will be held during the event where the sorting hat will decide which Hogwarts house you belong to and will give you a diploma. In addition, the characters from the saga will pass through the photocall, where a good number of princesses from the world of family cinema will also shine brightly, and can be seen singing on stage.

The arrival of characters also extends to the Marvel and DC universe, with attention focused on a long list of protagonists composed of Wolverine, Deadpool, Ironman, Peacekeeper, Cyclops, Spiderman, Green Lantern, Thor, Scarlet Witch, Dr. Strange, Mystique, or Dr. Doom, among others.

From Pirates of the Caribbean, Captain Jack Sparrow will accompany us again, and one of the main attractions of the first edition will also return: the Ghostbusters car, with all the characters from the movie.

Lightsabers will also play a major role in the event, through a national combat competition from the Ludosport academy: it will be the Fantasy Fest Ludosport Cup 2026.

In addition, this second edition incorporates an outdoor laser game zone with laser shooting and, in the exhibition area of Moll de Costa Eventos, there will be a tribute exhibition to Star Wars with a display of the most amazing helmets from the series and movies of the saga. Meanwhile, in the Moorish building, we will simultaneously have the exhibition of fantastic characters by Mikel Herrero, a science fiction artisan who will show his spectacular giant 3D figures of superheroes and manga protagonists from One Piece, among others, and if that were not enough, Herrero himself will paint a large mural live.

And also, for the little ones, special activities have been prepared for Sunday such as the Pokemon gymkhana zone or the K-pop Beauty zone, where you will have the opportunity to paint and style your hair like a true Huntrix. But there is much more: on Saturday, for example, there will be face painting and a badge workshop.
