The Vigo Port Police has once again demonstrated why it is a benchmark for performance, discipline, and physical preparation after being crowned again at the European Police and Fire Games.
The President of the Port Authority of Vigo, Carlos Botana, received the officers this morning to personally congratulate them on a record that once again places the Vigo institution in the European sports pantheon.
The continental championship is a highly demanding international event that this year brought together more than 3,000 participants from 40 countries across Europe, competing in dozens of elite modalities. In this global scenario, the Vigo officers have once again shone brightly in their respective categories and age groups.
During the reception, the port president, Carlos Botana, wanted to highlight the constancy of the staff: "Our Port Police never fails. The fact that year after year they continue to win medals in an event where more than 3,000 professionals from 40 countries compete shows what they are made of. It's incredible to see how they combine the daily surveillance of our docks with physical preparation at the highest level." "We are deeply proud of them. They carry the name of the Port of Vigo to the highest level in Europe and are the best reflection of the values of effort, teamwork, and self-improvement that this institution represents," Botana stressed.
