The Espai Cultural Moruno resumes its activity tomorrow after the summer with the XXVI National Naval Modeling Exhibition, which will take place throughout the weekend in this emblematic venue, which has already become an annual meeting point for the entity.
The free exhibition, organized by the Castellón Modelers Association (A.M.C.), will feature more than fifty models of different styles and will bring together more than forty participants from all over Spain, highlighting places such as Madrid, Asturias, Zaragoza, and Bizkaia.
It is also worth noting that among the peculiarities and attractions of the event is the free naval modeling navigation, open to all audiences, which will take place in the pool adjoining the Moruno building, which has been recently renovated.
Regarding the exhibition hours, on Saturday it will be from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM and from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, and on Sunday, it will be open to the public only in the morning.
The exhibition has the collaboration of the Castellón City Council, PortCastelló, Real Club Náutico, Leon Guijt Nautic Service, and Jorge Viciano Barcina, landscaping projects and maintenance.
This is the first of a wide variety of exhibitions that the Port Authority of Castellón has programmed this season to bring life to this cultural container of reference in the Grao and thus revitalize the leisure area and this recently renovated space.
With this exhibition, the season and exhibition cycles resume in the Moruno building, which already has a 'sold out' sign for October, a month that features events and activities every week.
The Castellón Modelers Association (A.M.C.) is a local non-profit cultural entity focused on disseminating the art of modeling and promoting maritime and naval traditions in the city. The entity organizes exhibitions, model gatherings, and displays of navigable ships.
