Carnival Cruise Line today opened sailings for its 2028/29 West Coast deployment, featuring cruises to Alaska, Hawaii and Mexico aboard Carnival Adventure, Carnival Legend and Carnival Spirit.
The newly released itineraries include Alaska cruises departing from Seattle and San Francisco, Carnival Journeys sailings to Hawaii and the Panama Canal and a variety of Baja Mexico and Mexican Riviera cruises from the West Coast.
Carnival Journeys Offer Distinctive, Longer Voyages
The new deployment features several distinctive Carnival Journeys cruises, giving guests more opportunities to enjoy extended voyages. These special sailings visit some of the most popular destinations while offering unique onboard experiences. Carnival Adventure will offer a nine-day Carnival Journeys Alaska cruise departing from Seattle on Sept. 12, 2028, followed by a 16-day Carnival Journeys Hawaii voyage departing Sept. 21.
Carnival Legend will sail a 13-day Carnival Journeys Alaska cruise departing April 28, 2028 and a 15-day Carnival Journeys Hawaii cruise departing Sept. 14. Carnival Spirit will offer a 16-day Carnival Journeys Panama Canal sailing departing Tampa on April 16, 2028, a nine-day Carnival Journeys Alaska cruise departing from Seattle on Sept. 14 and 11 Carnival Journeys Hawaii sailings.
Carnival Adventure Debuts Alaska Season from Seattle
Carnival Adventure will sail from Seattle from May through September 2028, relocating seasonally from Australia. The ship will offer 18 seven-day Alaska Inside Passage & Glacier cruises departing between May 9 and Sept. 5, 2028. The itineraries include visits to Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway, along with scenic cruising through Endicott Arm Fjord and a call to Victoria, British Columbia.
Carnival Legend Returns to Alaska from San Francisco
Carnival Legend will offer a varied schedule from San Francisco, including 10 four-day Baja Mexico cruises departing between April and August 2028 with visits to Ensenada.
The ship will also operate nine 10-day Alaska sailings from May 15 through Sept. 4, 2028. These itineraries feature visits to Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan (Ward Cove) and Prince Rupert, British Columbia, as well as scenic cruising through Endicott Arm Fjord.
Carnival Spirit Offers Alaska, Hawaii and Mexico Cruises
Carnival Spirit will begin its West Coast season with the Carnival Journeys Panama Canal sailing from Tampa. The ship will then operate 18 seven-day Alaska cruises from Seattle between May 11 and Sept. 7, 2028, featuring visits to Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway, along with scenic cruising through Endicott Arm Fjord and a call to Victoria, British Columbia. The ship will also offer select longer Alaska itineraries, including nine-day sailings featuring destinations such as Sitka and Icy Strait Point.
Following its Alaska season, Carnival Spirit repositions to Long Beach in October 2028, where it will offer a variety of cruises to Hawaii and Mexico through spring 2029, including the Carnival Journeys Hawaii sailings, with visits to popular islands including Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island.
Carnival Spirit's Long Beach schedule also features a mix of three-day Baja Mexico getaways, five-day Mexican Riviera cruises, and select eight-day Mexican Riviera sailings visiting Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta. To view all sailings, click here.
