New itineraries aboard the ships Explora I and Explora V are replacing previously planned voyages through the Middle East and the Red Sea by Explora Journeys, the luxury division of MSC Cruises, due to political and security uncertainty in those routes.
Thus, the former will explore the summer coasts of South America with 10 voyages, visiting 37 destinations, including 20 ports that are new for the first time. Explora V, meanwhile, inaugurates its first winter season with 21 sailings through a calmer Mediterranean, exploring the coast of North Africa and the sunny Atlantic islands.
"At Explora Journeys, we conceive travel differently. It's not just about how many places you can visit, but how those experiences are lived. Both collections offer travelers the freedom to explore beyond, with every detail designed to create a seamless and enriching experience from one destination to another," stated Anna Nash, President of Explora Journeys.
The voyages of Explora I visit Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, the Falkland Islands, and in Chile, the Beagle Channel, Puerto Williams, Punta Arenas, and Cape Horn, a route that traverses glaciers, fjords, and isolated archipelagos, offering pristine nature alongside refined life at sea.
