Holland America Line is bringing more live music to its Lido Pool with new bandstands planned for Oosterdam and Zuiderdam.
Part of Holland America Evolution, the new poolside additions will create dedicated entertainment spaces, with the first bandstand set to debut on Oosterdam following its refurbishment in fall 2027.
"Evolution is about bringing the very best of Holland America Line to more of our fleet," said Beth Bodensteiner, president of Holland America Line.
"Over the past several years, we've been on a journey to expand and elevate our entertainment offerings across the fleet, guided by what our guests tell us they love most. The new Lido Pool bandstands are another step in that effort, creating more opportunities to enjoy live music and memorable performances in one of the ship's most popular gathering spaces."
When it comes to programming at the new venues, guests can expect a variety of musical acts, including solo performers and live bands, as well as events tied to the company's Orange Party.
Oosterdam and Zuiderdam are the first two ships to undergo the transformation, which is part of a $500 million investment in enhancements across six Vista and Signature Class ships.
