Holland America Line will celebrate 80 years of sailing in Alaska in 2027 with new cruises and expanded offerings.
The 2027 season will include a new Alaska Inside Passage cruise, the return of the Legendary Alaska Arctic Circle Solstice and expanded accommodations at Denali Lodge.
"Alaska has been an important part of Holland America Line's story for nearly 80 years, and we're already preparing to mark this milestone following a successful 2026 season," said Beth Bodensteiner, president of Holland America Line.
"Our decades of experience in Alaska give us a deep understanding of what makes this destination so special, and that knowledge helps us create experiences that allow our guests to connect with the state in meaningful ways. We're proud of the memories we created this season and the relationships we continue to build in the communities we visit."
The new eight-day Alaska Inside Passage cruise sails roundtrip from Vancouver and includes a visit to Glacier Bay, Skagway, Ketchikan, and British Columbia's Prince Rupert.
Next season will also mark the return of the 28-day Legendary Alaska Arctic Circle Solstice for a third year. Sailing roundtrip from Seattle to the Bering Sea aboard Noordam, the journey departs June 6 to coincide with the Summer Solstice.
Renovations at the company's Denali Lodge property are also set to be completed in 2027, with the construction of two new guest buildings replacing older structures and increasing the capacity of the Lodge by 72 rooms.
Other enhancements at the property include the redesign of the Main Lodge interiors and public spaces, along with a complete renovation of Grizzly Grind, a coffee shop for guests.
The 2027 season will run from April through September, with sailings from Seattle, Vancouver, Canada, and Whittier, Alaska. Six ships will operate in the region, including Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Westerdam and Zaandam.
