(11:58 a.m. EDT) — Holland America Line opened bookings for its 2028 Canada and New England season.
The season runs from May through October 2028, and includes "more calls to Montréal than any other cruise line." Sailing aboard Volendam and Zuiderdam, itineraries range from seven to 14 days and depart from Montréal, Québec City, Boston, New York and Fort Lauderdale. Longer Collectors' Voyages are also available.
Select cruises include late-night calls in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and Saint John, New Brunswick, along with overnight stays in Québec City.
"One of the things guests love most about Canada & New England is that you can experience the feel of Europe without crossing the Atlantic," said Paul Grigsby, vice president of revenue planning and deployment for Holland America Line.
"From the French influence of Montréal and Québec City to the maritime traditions of Atlantic Canada, the region offers an extraordinary mix of culture, history and natural beauty. We also bring those destinations to life on board through local entertainment, regional dining experiences and destination-focused programming, so the journey is just as immersive as the places we visit."
Featured sailings include a nine-day Lighthouse & Harbors of Canada & New England cruise, sailing aboard Volendam from Montréal to New York on Sept. 30, 2028, and a 10-day itinerary exploring Québec & Newfoundland, departing from Montréal on June 7, 2028.
From Fort Lauderdale, guests can embark on a 14-day voyage departing May 13, 2028, with calls in Norfolk, Virginia; Boston; Portland; Halifax; Sydney; Prince Edward Island; Québec City; and Saguenay.
Onboard, guests can enjoy regional dining, local entertainment and destination-focused programming, such as performances by regional musicians like Breton Thunder.
Guests sailing aboard Zuiderdam in 2028 will have the chance to experience the ship following its Evolution transformation.
