Hurtigruten has expanded its Arctic exploration offering with a new six-day tour, called "Northern Delights: Svalbard and Arctic Norway."
The company said that the new offering is available to book now for the 2026-27 season.
"'Northern Delights' is a voyage of discovery through two extraordinary Arctic worlds," said Hayley Moore, VP of sales and marketing, UK and emerging markets at Hurtigruten.
"Our guests will experience the untamed nature of Svalbard before admiring the spectacular winter landscape of the Norwegian coastline. It's the ultimate trip for those looking to experience the magic of winter in the far north," added Moore.
"Authentic winter experiences have never been more popular with UK travelers. With 'Northern Delights,' we have created an itinerary that truly meets this demand, immersing guests in the beauty, wilderness, adventure and uniqueness of the Arctic North, creating a memorable experience that only Hurtigruten can offer."
Svalbard (Day 1-3)
The company said in a press release that the sailing begins at Longyearbyen, just 1,300 km to the North Pole.
Highlights of the land program include a traditional wilderness evening at Camp Barentz with reindeer stew under the polar sky and a husky safari where travelers can take the reins of a dog sled themselves.
Mainland connection and Tromso (Days 3-4)
A flight then takes travelers from Spitsbergen to Tromso, with opportunities for independent exploration before embarkation on the evening of day four.
Sea voyage to the North Cape and Kirkenes (Days 4-6)
The sailing includes stops in Skjervoy and Hammerfest; then the ship sets course for Honningsvag and the North Cape.
Passing the historic Sámi sacrificial site of Finnkirka and the world's northernmost mainland lighthouse, the ship travels along the scenic Varanger Peninsula.
The journey ends on the sixth day in Kirkenes, where guests can extend their stay at the Kirkenes Snowhotel.
The voyages are available to book from £1,655 per person (includes flight from Longyearbyen to Tromsø, transfers, hotel accommodation, ship passage and selected activities).
