(11:41 a.m. EDT) — Margaritaville at Sea announced 30 distinct itineraries sailing in 2028, visiting 25 destinations.
Now on sale, the season includes two new ports of call for the cruise line and a collection of special sailings and holiday cruises.
For the first time, Margaritaville at Sea will call on Limón, Costa Rica, and Colón, Panama, with Islander visiting both destinations on new eight-night sailings from Tampa. The itineraries also include a call in Grand Cayman.
"We've built our 2028 lineup around the idea that no two escapes have to look the same," said Christopher Ivy, chief executive officer of Margaritaville at Sea.
"Whether guests want to discover a place they've never been, celebrate a holiday at sea, enjoy great music or simply spend a few days somewhere warmer, this schedule gives them more choices and plenty of reasons to come back and experience something different. These unique itineraries are designed for guests who want to experience the authentic Caribbean and explore beyond it."
Highlighted itineraries include the Laissez les Bons Temps Rouler: Mardi Gras Returns, sailing aboard Islander from Tampa Bay, with an overnight stay in the Crescent City. The ship will also sail a special Halloween voyage for the third consecutive year, with an overnight call in New Orleans.
Islander will also offer a five-night sailing to Key West and Bimini departing June 25, 2028, timed around International Parrothead Day on June 28.
Meanwhile, Beachcomber will expand the options from Galveston with new itineraries, including visits to Cozumel, Progreso and Veracruz.
Margaritaville at Sea is also adding more music-focused sailings for 2028, featuring famous artists and exclusive performances at sea. More details about these cruises will be revealed in the upcoming months.
