MSC World Atlantic Completes Float-Out at French Shipyard Before 2027 Launch

MSC Cruises celebrated a major milestone in the construction of MSC World Atlantic this past week, as the ship touched water for the first time at Chantiers de l'Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire, France.

The moment marks an important stage in the ship's journey toward joining the MSC Cruises fleet in 2027.

Following the float-out, MSC World Atlantic returned to the shipyard as work continues on the ship's interiors and public spaces.

The fourth LNG-powered ship in the company's World Class series, MSC World Atlantic is scheduled to be officially delivered to MSC Cruises in 2027, ahead of its inaugural Caribbean season in November.

MSC World Atlantic will sail from Port Canaveral beginning in November 2027, offering seven- and 14-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, with calls at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, MSC Cruises' private island in the Bahamas.

Following MSC World Europa, MSC World America and MSC World Asia, MSC World Atlantic will also feature seven unique districts, including a signature MSC Yacht Club ship-within-a-ship complex. The ship will offer 19 dining venues and 18 bars and lounges across 22 decks.
