Sept. 10, 2026 – The Port of Los Angeles is offering the public free harbor boat tours from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 26, departing from San Pedro’s Downtown Harbor near the Los Angeles Maritime Museum, at 600 S. Harbor Blvd., San Pedro.
Tours will depart every 30 minutes and boarding is first-come, first-served. The tour line will close at 1 p.m. or when capacity is reached. Upon arrival, attendees must check in at the Port of Los Angeles information booth under the green tent to receive their assigned departure time. All ages are welcome.
Visitors will enjoy 50-minute narrated tours with up-close views of the nation’s busiest port, featuring cargo terminals, active vessels and notable Port landmarks, such as the Vincent Thomas Bridge, Battleship IOWA and Wilmington Clock Tower.
Tour variations include a dog-friendly tour at 11:30 a.m. to accommodate well-socialized, leashed dogs, as well as a 1 p.m. Spanish-narration tour.
Wheelchair-accessible boarding is available, along with free and paid parking options located near Downtown Harbor.
Visitors are also encouraged to explore nearby attractions, including the newly opened Starbucks at West Harbor on the LA Waterfront. Harbor boat tours depart from San Pedro year-round and are available for purchase from Harbor Breeze Cruises.
