Princess Cruises is ending its direct sales presence in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and China.
There is no change to the Princess offices in Japan, which remains a powerhouse for the line, and Singapore, where Princess earlier this year inked a multi-ship agreement with the Singapore Tourism Board, spanning 2027 to 2030.
"Like many global businesses, Princess Cruises continually reviews its operations to ensure alignment with evolving market conditions," the line said in a statement provided to Seatrade Cruise News.
"As a result, Princess has made targeted, strategic adjustments to its commercial divisions across Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and China.
"This reflects an evolution in how Princess operates across parts of the region, while maintaining a strong commitment to Asia and the opportunities it presents."
A spokeperson did not share the number of people impacted.
The statement added there are no changes to Princess operations in Japan, Singapore or Australia.
The Singapore office is now reporting to Australia for sales and marketing while the UK office is taking over customer operations.
"Importantly, our focus and investment in these markets continues to be strong," the statement said, adding: "Princess remains committed to this region now and in the future."
