(2:03 p.m. EDT) — Royal Caribbean International has unveiled its new lineup of Alaska adventures, sailing aboard the Ovation, Serenade and Voyager of the Seas beginning in April 2028.
The ships will sail seven-night cruises departing from Seattle, Seward and Vancouver, with ways to extend select voyages with land experiences. The 2028 Alaska season is now available for Crown & Anchor Society loyalty members, ahead of the official opening on Thursday, Oct. 1.
Departing from Seward and Vancouver, Anthem of the Seas will combine Alaska's coastlines with immersive inland experiences on seven-night vacations and two- to six-night Cruisetours, which include adventures to Denali National Park.
The newly revamped Ovation of the Seas will offer week-long cruises from Seattle from May through September. Guests can explore the landscapes and heritage of Sitka, Skagway and Juneau, along with the waterfalls, valleys and mountain views at Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier.
Serenade of the Seas will sail from Vancouver on seven-night getaways from May to September. Highlights include the longest and highest zipline at Icy Strait Point, hiking in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, and browsing the historic district of Juneau.
From April to September, Voyager of the Seas will sail from Seattle to Alaskan towns of Sitka, Juneau and Skagway and Canada's Victoria, British Columbia. Travelers can visit national historic sites of the Last Frontier and spot wildlife like grizzly bears, harbor seals and bald eagles.
